Carrie Kagawa is the Founder and Principal of Keystone Strategies, a consulting firm focused on strengthening support to the military and veteran community.
Carrie is a former Department of Defense official and previously served as an advisor to the 28th Secretary of Defense on issues impacting military personnel and the civilian workforce. Prior to this, Carrie also served at the Department of Veterans Affairs in the Secretary’s office. Carrie’s other public service includes the White House, U.S. Senate, and senior roles in the non-profit sector.
Carrie is an alumna of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies.
Carrie lives in Virginia with her spouse, Joe, a U.S. Navy Veteran, and their two children.
